Knowing when to send an email is just one of the many thoughts that goes through our minds when setting up our automations or scheduling our campaigns. Do we send emails based on where we are located? This has been the thought of many organizations, even if they are more of a national or global brand.
We always need to remind ourselves that our focus should be on the customer’s experience. According to AWeber, sending emails based on the customer’s time zone provides better results and it makes total sense from a customer’s point of view.
If you’re on the East Coast and your customer is in Hawaii and your analytics are telling you that sending an email at 9 AM on a Tuesday is the best day/time for maximum performance, you might be missing an opportunity to covert leads across the country and/or globe by not sending at 9 AM on a Tuesday in the customer’s location.
You sending an email to someone at 9 AM ET will be sent to someone in Hawaii at 3 AM ET.
Follow your data and set up your campaigns and automations to go out at a time that is specific to the customer and watch your engagement pop.
